A native San Franciscan, Piero first joined Hang Art in 2003 as an intern and eventually worked his way up the ranks to Director. He has a passion for finding new talent and identifying the tipping points of artists' careers. Piero practices what Hang Art preaches by actively collecting contemporary artworks with a focus on artists from the San Francisco Bay Area. Piero studied general fine art and art history at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he earned his B.F.A. and maintains an active studio practice.

Erica came to Hang Art in 2007, bringing mad skills from her prior career in corporate interiors project management. Erica is your go-to for Hang Art's corporate consulting program or if you're trying to find the perfect artwork for your space. Not all design, Erica captured her love of art when she lived in Florence, Italy in the midst of earning a B.A. in art history from the University of Texas. You will often find her visiting artists' studios and keeping the gallery running smoothly, without neglecting her side business in cheese tasting.

Andrew joined Hang Art in 2008 after moving to San Francisco from Detroit, where he earned an M.F.A. in painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Andrew has worked in various capacities in museums and galleries across the country. He also spent a summer breaking glass professionally but doesn't like talking about it. At Hang Art he brings this diverse experience to ensure the website is up to date, the postcards look cool, and Hang Art clients find the perfect artwork. In his free time, he maintains his own studio practice.

After falling in love with San Francisco while on a trip to visit a friend, Lacey made the move from Asheville, North Carolina to the Bay Area in 2007. Steeped in the art world, Lacey holds an M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) and a B.F.A. from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She continues to further her art practice during the week and holds down the fort at Hang Art on the weekends. With an ever so slight Southern twang, Lacey also handles event rentals at Hang Art.

Artwork doesn't walk out of the gallery without leaving a paper trail behind it. As our resident Bookkeeper, Ahmed ensures that we cross our i's and dot our t's. A native San Franciscan, Ahmed received his B.S. in marketing from San Francisco State University. He speaks several languages and has traveled extensively. Favorite museums include London's British Museum, The Met in New York City, and (of course) our very own SFMOMA. Ahmed's passion for all things local make him a great resource for those exploring the unique corners of the city.
