JAMEY BRZEZINSKI
ABOUT JAMEY BRZEZINSKI
Jamey Brzezinski
b. 1951
Growing up in San Bernardino, CA, Jamey Brzezinski first headed to the Bay Area in 1978. His tranquil top-down paintings of imagined landscapes ask the viewer to contemplate the divide between realism and non-objective abstraction.
Brzezinski received his BA from California’s Humboldt State University and earned his MFA in Printmaking from California College of Arts & Crafts. For decades, he was Chairman of the Arts Division at Merced College.
His work is included in several significant public, private, and corporate collections. Among them are the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Saudi Royal Family, and the Pratt Institute in N.Y.C. He lives and works in Pacifica, CA with his wife Jude Pittman.
